For our clients in Whatcom County, a local presence for fall and winter. Here are the details:

  • Season runs from October 1st through March 31st (six consecutive months),
  • Monthly services can be cancelled in advance, with pro-rated billing for any completed work,
  • For the external boat watch package, services are performed weekly and before any storms/freezing events,
  • A maintenance package is available to provide recommended preventative service timelines,
  • Additional terms and conditions discussed based on selected package,
  • Boats over 50 feet are subject to additional fees for the added complexity of the work.

Note: Labor is included in all maintenance services unless otherwise specified. Parts and materials to be provided by the customer.

Boat Care Services
Basic Boat Watch

Thorough care to ensure your boat is safe during storms.

$50/month
What's Included:
  • Examine dock lines and power cord for chase
  • Maintain snubber system on dock lines
  • Replace snubbers as needed (customer to provide)
  • Inspect main sail cover and on-deck equipment
  • Check running rigging (halyards, sheets, etc.) for wear
  • Monitor for wildlife issues and provide remediation recommendations.
What's Required:
  • Boat accessibility
  • Signed service agreement
Additional Fees:
  • Parts and materials as needed
  • Emergency service fee for urgent requests
  • Travel fee may apply for remote locations
Interior Boat Caretaking

Includes all the services of Basic Boat Watch, plus:

$100/month
What's Included:
  • Thorough power cord inspection (both ends)
  • Interior examination
  • Battery Checks
  • Engine inspection
  • Dehumidification maintenance
  • Heater monitoring
  • Interior wipdown and moisture inspection
  • Head/toilet system flushing
What's Required:
  • Pre-service inspection
  • Access to the interior of the boat
  • Signed service agreement
Additional Fees:
  • Specialty parts and materials
  • After-hours service premium
  • Diagnostic fee for complex issues
Comprehensive Boat Caretaking

Includes all the services of Interior Boat Caretaking, plus:

$175/month
What's Included:
  • Monthly engine operation (45 minute temprature cycle)
  • Electronic systems checks (AIS, VHF, GPS, etc.)
  • Monthly maintenance included to have your boat ready for the next season, on the following schedule:
  • October: Engine & Transmission oil chage w/ optional oil analysis
  • November: Winch service and re-lubrication
  • December: Running rigging maintenance and cleaning
  • January: Top-side boat rinse and mildew removal
  • February: Standing rigging inspection and safety check
  • March: Fuel filter replacement (primary and seconday)
What's Required:
  • Pre-service inspection
  • Access to the interior of the boat
  • Access to the engine room
  • Signed service agreement
Additional Fees:
  • Specialty parts and materials
  • After-hours service premium
  • Diagnostic fee for complex issues
